ATES ltd. produces wire harness for automobile industry. Wire harness is a bunch of interconnected in certain succession cables, arranged in accordance with the location of the mounting elements and depending on their function in the vehicle. The core of the flow process of wire harness produce is built by: preprocessing, completion, supervision and quality control.
Processes
SKT
Mechanized process that accompanied by cable linkage in connector.
Hose cutting
Specialized machinery, using programmed dimensions, cuts spiral and PVC hoses depending on production needs.
Cabling
Specialized machinery, using programmed dimensions and length of the pitch, carries out the cabling.
Welding
Mechanized welding of two and more wires progresses in conditions of special temperature, pressure and ultrasonic vibrations.
Warm and cold welding insulation
Insulation of welding is implemented by heat shrinkage or insulation tape.
Gathering
Wire grouping in a demanded sequence; fixation and attaching to the base required fastening elements.
Supervision
Incoming materials check
Workers, who check incoming materials, execute visual estimation of quality.
Workpiece control
Production control. Administrating of obligatory tests to ensure reliable production process. Additional sampling check. Writing results of inspections to record books.
Control over development of the wire harness
Quality control over the end product and control over machinery, which executes assembly of wire harness using programmed dimensions.
Electrical test
All produced wire harness passes electric test that ensures proper electrical connection. This test is done using special test charts.
Workpiece quality-check monitoring
Before sending to a client all electrical tests passed wire harness undergo careful visual inspection.
